A week after I blogged about the practicality of black running shoes, Asics seemed to have discontinued their 2120 model’s black color, the very example I used in the post. According to their website, Asics added two new colors, red and green (pictured on the right), but stopped making the black. I was planning on getting the black in the winter, running in them and then walking in them forever, but there goes that plan. That’s right. i say we get some black spraypaint, and go after all our old running shoes at once.
