I wanted to get in some distance, some fast running, and some uphills and downhills today. This route goes from Chestnut Hill through Valley Green to Roxborough, then through Shawmont to the Schuykill River, up Harts and through Whitemarsh and Andorra, down to Valley Green and back to Chestnut Hill. It's a pretty simple and boring route, but because I don't do it often and the hills are long, I end up finding it interesting. Much of the time, I was just in a zone, with the scenery passing by me in my peripheral vision. Today's total: 11.33 miles in 1 hour and 27 minutes.
